Laidback Sundays: The Stance Pilipinas x Illest Meet

As we all know Stance Pilipinas / Manila Fitted had 2 special meets with Fatlace / Illest for 2017 – one in Circuit Makati and one in Vista Mall Santa Rosa. The 2 gatherings (held on a weekday) last year marked the 5th year connection between the two. The two groups which share similar insights in slammed vehicles and aggressive fitment draws back to several events in Japan and Manila.

Friends from the Fatlace Paddock graced and joined the event in line with SPMF’s 3rd meet for 2018. Compared to the two meets back in 2017, this only had 4 days of planning – from the venue permits, shirt designs and giveaways.

SPMF - 2

Being a Sunday, the Turf in BGC was the perfect location to maintain the laidback atmosphere within SPMF’s meets giving birth to the name “Illest Sundays”.

SPMF - 3

As projected the 3 PM call time will not be observed with with temperatures as high as 38 degrees Celsius. This caused the meet’s festivities to start at around 5 PM.

SPMF - 4

A special collaborative Offset Kings x Stance Pilipinas featuring “Manila” in Katakana was printed for the meet. This incorporates Offset Kings’ “it’s okay if you don’t get it” 2016 tour shirts with SPMF’s signature minimalist designs.

SPMF - 5

With multiple guests driving for the meet, the parking queue took almost an hour to clear out.

SPMF - 6

Here we can see guests Daniel Sy and Ton Llave with their VIP inspired builds.

SPMF - 7

With a good number of meet regulars plus new builds coming out for the meet, the core root of SPMF’s meets remained.

SPMF - 8

Almost halfway for 2018, SPMF’s target of 6 meets for the year is on track. Stay tuned for its next meet as it will be something special.
